Influenza vaccine grown in plants

One of the biggest problems the world faces when the next pandemic hits will be how quickly can we produce a vaccine. With Swine flu we were lucky, the virus was relatively mild, but vaccine arrived too late. Some interesting technologies might change this, including growing the vaccine in plants, see the story below;
